This event takes place at the Mull of Galloway on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st August in celebration of lighthouses, light vessels and navigational aids. 2016 also marks 230 years of the Northern Lighthouse Board and it is the Visit Scotland Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design.
Join the Mull of Galloway Trust and John Ross, Commissioner of Northern Lighthouse Board for a ‘history chat’ with former lighthouse keeper’s, follow in the footsteps of the Stevenson’s with Ian Cowe and hear about his 7 year photographic journey by land, sea and air of 96 Stevenson Lighthouses and join Curly Tale Books for story time with ‘Treasure Island’ by Robert Louis Stevenson.
