Guest House, Wigtown, Scotland

Launched last year, this new book weekend festival organised by Wigtown’s booksellers has been inspired by festivals like Samhain, Diwali, Advent and the tradition of hygge.

Events including readings and workshops draw on the wealth of talented writers, artists and storytellers that live in Dumfries and Galloway. This year’s programme is still being planned but it will include the popular ghost story evening by the Open Book Writers and a series of short readings linked to St Ninian who was known as the “light of the Celtic north.”

Join us for a cosy weekend in the warmth of Wigtown’s bookshops.
